The White House
During times of trouble and crisis in our nation, our eyes turn to the one icon of our nation that represents the eye of the hurricane. That eye is the home and office of the President of the United States, the White House.
This building has long been where our citizens turn to in times of trouble. In 1941, when Pearl Harbor attacked, throngs went to the fences to see what President Roosevelt’s response would be. In November 1963, it was a scene of mourning, and a changing of the guard. During Desert Shield and Desert Storm, it was a source of information during our most successful military operation. Here you can follow what President George Bush and his staff are doing to lead our nation during this latest crisis.
Whatever your political affiliation or philosphy, now is the time to get behind our leaders and allow them to to their job without criticism or second guessing. Their task is going to be difficult enough, and we need to give them our undivided support and prayers.
