What’s Your Most Powerful Asset?

Your home? Your investments? Your personality?

How about your smile!

According to psychologist and executive coach Dr. Ann Demarais, the smile is a very powerful asset for humans. It makes us relax, feel confident and gives a better impression to others around us. Being confident of your smile is also very important for us – how straight and while your teeth are and what it looks like can make us feel either good or bad about our smiles.

Dr. Ann Demarais, the founder of First Impressions, an executive and social skills coaching firm, has more than 15 years of experience in applied psychology, specializing in interpersonal communication, impression management, social skills, leadership, and executive coaching. She has coached at all levels of organizations, from CEO to star individual contributors. In addition to her work in the business world, she is a consultant to the Social Intelligence Program at Columbia University Business School, and has been an invited speaker at conferences at Columbia University, New York University and the Omega Institute. Ann holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from New York University.
