People make contraptions for all manner of reasons, but that’s just it, they have a reason, there is a clear sought out goal. Not very often is anything made to make life more difficult or harder or more complicated than it should be. There is always a reason behind the things we make.

Then you have this guy, who makes things that serve no purpose… well, it served a bit of a purpose, it makes people laugh and scratch their head wondering why? So in a sense, this does serve a purpose, however convoluted.
