Art For Kids

Give a child a piece of paper, and some crayons, and in a few minutes, you will have a masterpiece that will last your life. (I know, I have boxes of them in my house.) But in doing this, you give a child the ability to use their imagination and be creative. These two items are, in my opinion, the essence of childhood.

Todays Famsite is one that can help budding young artists learn and participate in creative projects. Called Art For Kids, it is a collection of exhibit, such as the paintings of van Gogh and the music of Mozart. There are online coloring books, contests, music and paper crafts. There is more to see and do here than I can describe in this paragraph. Just stop by and enjoy it. Better yet, let your children visit with you, and then all of you can have fun together.
