Arty the part-time Astronaut

One of best ways to learn about science is to present it in a fun and exciting way. Today’s FamSite is an example of that, and you will meet a new friend along the way.

Called Arty, the part-time Astronaut, it is a site that is designed to help young people explore the solar system. It does it with the latest Internet Shockwave technology, it interactively take visitors to where they can learn about the planets, travel to them (via cyber-space, of course), and play some games along the way.

This is an interesting look at how the Internet can be used to educate and entertain. It is just a glimpse at how it is impacting and changing our lives. Enjoy your trip.
