One of the toughest choices parents have to make these days is to put the kids in day care and have 2 working parents, or have one stay at home and raise them. Unfortunately economics makes the decision, not parental instincts. But today’s website may help provide an answer or two.

It is called Bizy Mom. It’s mission in cyberspace is to provide a way for moms (or dads) to be stay-at-home parents, and give their children the attention they deserve. It is a collection of information about starting a business that can be run from within the home. Topics include “A Listing of Over 180 Home Business Ideas”, “SCAMS! How to Avoid Them”, “Bizy Moms and Their Web Pages” (that would make an interesting topic for Oprah, Jerry, or Montel, wouldn’t it), among others. The choice of having a parent stay at home to raise children was a decision my wife and I had to make 11 years ago. She became a stay-at-home mom, and we never regretted it. It has helped improve our relationship with our children. (To help make ends meet, she did latch key day care for school age kids. It required only 3-4 hours a day and she still had free time to devote to our children).
