Bury St. Edmunds

Travel, it is said, it broadening. It is mind expanding. And in this day and age, it can be very expensive. At least it is if you care to go in person. But if you use the Internet, it is possible to go just about anywhere.

Today’s site, Bury St. Edmunds, is an example of the armchair cyber-travel that is available these days. It is a small village in the Great Britain, with a lot of history and heritage within the city limits. Here it is possible to get a taste of the pageantry and tradition that is so, well, traditional in Merry Old England. Visit the Manor House Museum, take a tour along historic Bury St. Edmund town trail, and do a little sightseeing. You can also check into the activities of the local population, from roller-skating at Rollerbury, to sports at the Leisure Centre, and a night at the Theatre Royal.

This is a quaint and interesting site. It is under construction in several areas, but is still an enjoyable site to visit. The only thing missing is the smell of tea for teatime. Have fun here.
