Don McLean Online
One of the most recognizable songs ever written is also one of the most interesting in the subject matter it is about. It has been analyzed and written about ever since it was released in 1971. I remember it from dancing to it at a high school sock hop. Today’s FamSite is about the man who wrote it and took it to the top of the charts.

I know info. That can show that Don McLean did NOT in fact write the song American Pie. It in fact whas stolen from someon that I know personaly. I just don’t se how anyone could do such a thing. I will try the best I can to make sure the true writer one day is given credit for the well known song American Pie.
