Embracing the Child
Being a parent of two girls and a boy, I try to keep an eye out for sites that contain information that can help my wife and myself be a better parent. Being the parent of a special needs child, I try to find sites that can provide resources that can help to understand and deal with his needs. Today’s site is one that has a little bit of everything for everyone in that regard.
It is called Embracing the Child. It is a site full of resources for early childhood development, parenting for single mothers, adopted children, ADD and ADHD children. These are books, internet links, newsgroups, poetry, and all sorts of informational sources. There is a treasure chest for parents and teachers, such as the Global Schoolhouse, Family Education Network, and the New Teacher Page. There is a chance to sign the Proclamation for World Peace, and join 2 billion voices for peace.
This is a site that is extremely multi-faceted. It is very oriented to children, and helping to ensure their well being. I find it a special place, where each time I visit, I find something new, and interesting. I think you will also. Have a nice visit here today, and be sure to share it with a friend.

Hello,
Thank you for the link to Embracing the Child. I remember when this was posted many years ago. Would you mind changing the link to our corporate URL. Two years ago we became a non profit.
It is on your page:

Our new address is: http://www.embracingthechild.org
Many thanks.
