Happy Stepfamily Day

On September 16th, Stepfamily Day will be celebrated. Today’s Family Site of the Day looks at that special day, and the people that make it so.

Stepfamily Day is enhanced by a strong commitment to supporting the Stepfamilies of our nation in their mission to raise their children, and to strong family structures to support the individual members of the family and to instill in them a sense of responsibility to other family members. The Annual National Stepfamily Day Picnic is a way for family celebration.Back yards and neighborhood parks will be filled with stepfamilies celebrating their special relationships. Many communities are supporting the festivities with food and games. This Day will celebrate their lifestyle and the family members who worked so hard to bring about this stronger sense of commitment and caring. It will hail the triumph of the stepfamily experience and the boundless love which is contained in the bond between a large diversity of parents and children.

Enjoy your visit here today, and come back often.
