Today’s FamSite looks at an event that has happened every four years for the past 210 years, give or take a month or two. The smooth transition of the changing of our government sends a message to the rest of the world that our country is still united and strong. It also marks the 4th anniversary of the WorldVillage Family Site of the Day, and the start of our 5th year. It has been a pleasure bringing a wide variety of family-oriented sites to you every day, and I look forward to continuing to present them.

The site today is the official Inauguration 2001 site. Here you can find out about the event that will transpire in the capitol (and the rest of the country) on the day that George W. Bush will become President of the United States. Everything from entertainment to souvenirs, from photos to website links, this is the all-inclusive site for our transition in government.
