Moms “Deforesting” Their Guts – What?
Feeling bloated? Sluggish? Maybe things are moving so well down there?
It could be that you’ve “deforested” your guts, according to Dr. Steven Lamm of the New York University School of Medicine and author of “No Guts, No Glory.”
He says so much of what we eat is killing the good bacteria that lives in our guts and that can affect your immune system, your metabolism and many other systems in your body. He says what you put in your mouth has the “single greatest influence on your health.”
Lamm says up to 70% of adults are lactose intolerant and yet, we still eat tons of dairy products. Likewise, many people are not tolerant of the combination of gluten and fructose either.
Watch this interview Family First editor Marijo Tinlin did with Dr. Lamm to hear more about what’s going on in your guts. It could actually change your life.
