Museum of London
The British Empire has a long and glorious history. The capitol of Great Britain has been a city longer than most countries have existed. They are very proud of their past, and like to share it with people. Today’s Family Site looks a one of those places.
It is called the Museum of London, and is a fascinating look into that city’s past. There are many galleries to visit, pictures to look at, and several exhibits, which can be very informative. For example, there is currently a look at the 750-year-old Bethlem Royal Hospital, and the place it has had in the city’s history (it is often referred to as “Bedlam” Hospital). Current galleries include London Transportation, London Entertainment, and London Children. There are pages for upcoming events, and a nicely featured links page. This would be a wonderful site to spend some time at this coming week.
