Teleport’s New Year’s Guide

Looking for a good place to curl up and welcome in the New Year? Any particular place in mind? How about the entire world? By visiting the Family Site of the Day today, it is possible to go to just about any corner of the world, and see how New Year’s Day is welcomed (including the South Pole).

With the coming of 1998, the number of sites are so many and so varied, I almost forgot that I had to review the site I was so caught up in going all over the site. You can go to the First Night ’98 celebration in New York City, as well as at least 20 other U.S. cities. Then there are other cities around the world such as Tokyo, Berlin, London, and even Auckland, New Zealand. There are links to several sites with Real Audio, so you can listen as well as see.
