Parks and History Association
Summer is the time to go and travel. One of the great travel experiences can be visiting one of our national parks. There are hundreds of them, and they may be closer than you think. Today’s Family Site of the Day may be able to help you plan a trip to one, and never leave the comfort of your computer.
Called the Parks and History Association, it is a site that contains many downloaded images of the parks in our country. There are online resources for educators, as well as digital tours to some parks. Here you can visit the Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial, the Craters of the Moon National Park, and Yosemite National Park, all in one day. Pictures can be downloaded, or purchased if higher resolutions ones are needed. This is a great site, and one that should be bookmarked for future return visits.
