Psychedelic 60’s
To many growing up today, the 1960’s seem as remote as the 1930’s did when I was young. But those turbulent years will have just as profound an impact on our nation’s history as the Great Depression did on our parents and grandparents.
Today’s site is one that takes a nostalgic and educational look at that time. Called the Psychedelic 60’s, it is an educational and informative adventure into what life was like then. Here you can read about the late Timothy Leary, The Grateful Dead, Ken Kesey, Woodstock (in an educational setting), and an in-depth look at the year of 1968, when it all came crashing down around our heads.
Learning from our past history is an important step in helping to plot our future. The impact of this decade is still being felt to this day. We should be listening.
