Safer Child

Today’s FamSite is one that has really struck home with your editor. Events in the town where I live, coupled with a personal tragedy that happend over 15 years ago have made this site take on a meaning that surpasses most sites that are featured here.

The site is called Safer Child, a site that is dedicated to having our children growing up happy and safe in a world that loves them. Their mission is mission is dedicated to providing parents, caregivers and educators worldwide with the resources and information they need in order to help all children grow up healthy, safe and happy. There is a wealth of information here for just about any crisis or non-crisis situaiton that your child can get into. For abuse, pregnancy, guns, moral issues, the list goes on and on for the help that is offered here. There is even a hot link on the main page for visitors that are in real-time crisis situations.

This site has a lot to offer anyone who visits it. The information here is of such a varied nature that one can’t take it all in on one visit. So be sure to bookmark it, and come back often. But also share it with a friend or relative. You never know when they may have a crisis situation as well.
