Even though it is still several months away, the major event of the tennis world is, without a doubt, the tournament known as Wimbledon. But there is more to this organization than just two weeks of outstanding tennis in the middle of summer. Today’s FamSite takes a look at the main organization behind the tournament.

Called The All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club, this site is the online presence of an organization that has been around for over 100 years, and is steeped in the finest in British tradition. Here you can visit their online museum and recount some of the greatest matches of all time. There is a video vault, news and press section, information on getting tickets (good luck), as well as downloads of wallpaper and screen savers. There is even a chance to join the gain an online membership. One of the nicest touches is, when looking at tickets locations, you can sample the view of the court from where you seats would be.

So stop on by for some cyber strawberries and cr�me, and enjoy the tournament. Remember that Wimbledon is two weeks in the summer, but the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club is all year long.
