One of the most memorable events of my growing up was when I found a box of old books that my mother and uncle had read while they were growing up in the midwest. Among them I found a set of books that continue to entertain and enthrall young readers today just as it did me.

The series of books was about two young teenage detectives named Frank and Joe. They were the Hardy Boys. Their adventures have been in print for over 70 years, and have been made into movies, cartoons series, and were even a part of Walt Disney’s Mickey Mouse Club television show.
