The John F. Kenndy Presidential Library
As we continue our tour of the Presidential libraries, our next stop takes us to the President that embodies the struggles our country went through in the midst of the cold war, and challenged us to � …ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country�.
The John F. Kennedy Library and Museum is located in Boston, Massachusetts, and is the repository of the papers and memorabilia of one of the most popular presidents to have ever been elected. Here you can find out about the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Bay of Pigs, and start of our involvement in a small Southeast Asian country called Vietnam. But there is also a chance to find out little known facts about the president, as well as information on the 1999 Profiles in Courage essay contest and scholarship.
The legacy of President Kennedy is well known. His place in history is assured, and the website for his library helps to enhance it. It will be a worthwhile visit.
