Here it is. The day we have all been waiting for, and for many of us, thought it had come last year. It is the last day of the last month of the last year of this millennium. Tomorrow we will be experiencing that has been anticipated for a thousand years – the year 2001. But that is tomorrow. Today (and tonight) let’s look at one last site for the year.

What better place to visit that the one that is most associated with this annual celebration? I am talking about Times Square in New York City. This has long been a cultural icon when one talks about New Year’s Eve.
