What’s Cooking by Chef Rick
I enjoy a good meal. Good food, good company, it all goes to make for a pleasant dining experience. Today’s FamSite looks at a site that I am anxious to use for planning a dinner or two around, as I really enjoy down home Southern cooking.
The site is called What’s Cooking by Chef Rick, and is a great place to experience some great regional culture. Here you can find out about Southern cooking, Cajun cooking, and Low-country cooking. There are recipes aplenty here, but there is also information on the whole cooking experience, such as what spices are better than others, and what sort of cooking utensils to use. From Jambalaya to Crawfish Etuofee to Red Beans and Rice, the variety goes on and on. My favorite was the Rick’s Southern Fried Chicken, which I will be trying this weekend.
From breakfast to dinner, from snack to appetizers, there is quite a bit of material here to digest. Enjoy your stop here today, and bon appetite.
