Growing up in the world today is very difficult. The pressures that children have placed upon them by peers and adults are just incredible. But sites like today’s are helping them to cope with everyday realities, in a very positive way.
The site, Youth For Christ, is an area where young ones can learn, simply, about the love of Jesus Christ. The resources available here are quite varied, but have enough depth to help answer just about any questions that can be asked. There is information on the ongoing ministries of YFC, such as Campus Life and Youth Guidance. Forums are available for in-depth discussions on a variety of subjects. There is an area with ideas and concepts for running well-organized meetings, with a list of materials needed. There is also an extremely informative area on the Equal Access Act, which has had a major impact on how and where students who want to explore the Bible and their religion can meet.
The role of religion can have a major impact on a child in so many ways. This site helps to promote the values of a Christian lifestyle, but not in an overbearing or in-your-face way. It would be a great resource to bookmark, in case there is ever a need to come back to it. You never know when you will need it.

I know of a family that is in great need this year and could really use any help they could get. I was wondering if they could be nominated for christmas adopt a family and. The mother just recently left her abusive husband and was then in a car accident that has left her unable to walk or work. The kids are a boy age 11 and 2 girls ages 6 and 8 .Anything at this point would be much appreciated. They are in need of food and basic living items and clothing ect for the children. . . she has no phone but my phone number is 540-397-8916 if you need to reach me. She is in need of any help she could get. . the kids need warm clothing and blankets and coats ect. She lost everything when she left her husband. He beat her and the children. they are under a protective order for the time being. they go to court in November for the domestic violence, him breaking the protective order and for custody. Her childrens sizes are as follows. ryan her son is 11 he wears size 16 in boys pants or size 29/30 in mens size 9 1/2 in mens shoes and medium-large mens shirts. her girls rajah is 8 and kiki is 6. they wear size 1 – and 1 1/2 in childrens shoes and size 7 and some 8 in childrens girls sizes . kiki can still wear size 6 also. yan would need a size medium mens jacket or large even he could wear. julie she wears size 15-16 in womans pants and large to xtra large in shirts and size 9 in shoes. she would need a large to xtra large coat. they all need socks, shoes , underwear ect . like I said anything would be appreciated. clothing- food -food cards-help with rent and/or electricity – basic living items they are in need of so anything would be so appreciated. they truly have nothing. god bless and my personal contact email is [email protected]
