AgeScape
There are two things in life that are inevitable: taxes and growing old. The first thing I can’t help you with, but as for the second, I may have something that will help.
The site is called AgeScape, and is a web site that is for the young-at-heart. It has several areas that are of interest to the senior citizens. But instead of just a place to find out what there is to do, it is a site that helps the retired individual make the most out of their time. For example there is a featured topic (the current one is “Return to Work?) that is contemporary in its discussion. There is a section called “Where Were You”, an interactive series looking at past great historical moments. Another area is “Spotlight On”, this time featuring a look at how the site’s peers are using the Internet.
So for the not-so chronologically challenged out there, here is a site that will give you or an acquaintance or mate some ideas on what can be done with the golden years of your life. It is a site that can grow on you.
