It has been over six months since the release of the most commercially successful motion picture of all time took place. It has garnered mountains of awards, a titanic amount, you could say. The cast of the film have gone on to other films and activities, but their participation in the film Titanic has assured them a place in Hollywood immortality.

The FamSite today looks at a website dedicated to one of the stars of the film, Kate Winslet. Called the Kate Winslet Fan Club Homepage, it is an unofficial site dedicated one of the newest superstars in filmdom today. At this well maintained and comprehensive website, one can find out about all aspects of Kate’s life, from her early roles to her current projects. There is a wealth of pictures, links, audio and video clips, everything and anything you could ever want to know about her.

But i see these actresses like Angelina Jolie, keira knightly and of cause the lady herself Kate winslet.But sometime i feel am i really that good enough to get anywhere in the drama business. I know you must always try your hardest and believe, but sometimes it just plays on my mind am i really good enough to get any where.My confidence has improve very much over the years in secondary school, but i think i just need a bit more convidence in myself, and seeing kate winslet winning all these awards has inspired me even more to achieve by getting my own awards, getting a great grade in my GCSE! You brought tears to my eyes during the court scenes and in the final minutes of the film.From the back woods of Southeast Oklahoma, in my youth I knew many individuals unable to read. Years later as a defense contractor employee I discovered six young US Army soldiers unable to read but oh, what memories they had!   67. however came up for the idea of having a fan site for kate winslet is a genius. Kate Winslet is the only actress i can think of that ever time I look at I don’t get depressed. I have been teased all my life one time I was too thin the 2nd time too fat. Iit saddens me to think that we have sunk so low that a size 4 is considered fat and having curves are ugly. I am currently a size 6 or 8 and every time I see kate’s picture she reminds that I don’t have to be stick thin to live a happy life. If only there were more postive role models for the girls at my high school and myself.
