Fahrenhype 9/11
Today’s Family First site is one that seeks to help level the playing field in current political climate. Sort of a ying to the more liberal yang that seems to be cluttering the airwaves, print media, and bandwidth of the Internet. While some of you may scoff at the material presented on this site, call it lies, hateful deception, and other things that can’t and won’t be repeated here, just remember that there are two sides to every story.
The site we visit today is called Fahrenhype 9/11. It is a website for the book and DVD that strive to reveal the misconceptions and outright lies that are spread by documentary film producer Michael Moore. Across America people are asking if his film Fahrenheit 9/11 is a dose of dissent or shameful cowardice, is it truth or is it hype. Leading the search for the truth is Dick Morris, the man Time magazine has called “the most influential private citizen in America”. His insight into the real motivations for Mr. Moore’s making this film is election year dynamite.
I came across this film quite by mistake, thinking it was satire or poitical takeoff on that movie. But once I started watching it, I became convinced that this film has a message that is just as important as Mr. Moore’s film. Here you will hear from a wide range of media (such as Anne Coulter) and entertainment personalities (such as Ron Silver from “The West Wing”), politicians (former New York Mayor and Democrat Ed Koch and Congressman Peter King, who lost hundreds of constituents on Sept. 11, 2001), and everyday people (such as Sarasota Principal Tose-Rigell and Sgt. Peter Damon who appeared in Mr. Moore’s film without being asked). Each of them give a different aspect of on how the events of that tragic day in American history impacted them, and more importantly, how it changed our nation.
This site gives you the opportunity to see trailers of the film, information on the book, and how to order it and the companion DVD. If nothing else, approach this film with the same attitude that you had when you first saw Mr. Moore’s film. If you do, I am sure that you will be as deeply affected by this film as you were by his. I know I was.

Have you SEEN the film? I just finished watching it and it is a stunning indictment against Michael Moore and his propaganda piece that WAY to many people ponied up cash to see. Fahrenhype 911 is an important film, if for no other reason than to wake up the lemmings that believe Moore’s piece is dealing with reality. WARNING TO LIBERALS: It will take a great deal of courage to watch this film. It will shatter your preconceived notions and conclusions. I double dog dare ya…

I saw the film here in Austin, Tx. It was informative and provocative. I also saw Mr. Moore interviewed on the Charlie Rose show. He seems to me to be an intellegent, well informed, well read American. I may not agree with everything he says, but I will defend to the death his right to say it.
How this country has become so polarized and full of distrust and hostility I cannot say. I am 64 years old and have never seen any thing like it. I hope we will all accept whoever wins the election in November and continue to discuss our differneces in an enlightened manner free of hatemongering and name calling.
I just typed a thoughtfull post but you site is telling me my content is offensive, although it contains no expletive, invective or slander in any why.
Please advise.
I figured I would watch “fahrenhype” because I am not a democrat, nor am I a republican. I spent the money to see fahrenheit 9/11, and I personally feel that it was worth the money. However, I would not watch “fahrenhype” again if I was paid to! This movie was ridiculous, proved no point whatsoever, and I feel sorry for whoever spent the money making it. If Bush gets re-elected, I am moving my family to Canada. Bush is a dangerous man, and I sincerely pity those who blindly support and follow him. The upcoming election has nothing to do with “democrats” or “republicans”; it is all about what is best for our country. Who will you trust with your family’s well being? My fiance’s father killed himself because of the economy problem…he thought that the life insurance would support his 5 children better than he could. Sadly, he was right.
Ive seen both of the Farenheit movies. One is for Bush, one is for Kerry, both are useless. I say move on. Lets have a new controversy, Al Sharpton or David Duke for the presidency! Thoughts?
i, as a European, just find it so hard to believe that with the majority of you people having an IQ high enough to know what is right and wrong, there are still those who let a man as stupid and crooked as george bush run your country for (another?) four years. This is not about politics, it’s just about love (in-groups) and hate (out-groups) no matter what the arguments are. It’s just your own modern day version of fundamentalism. Insane….

And why is it that anytime your European nations need money, the first country they turn too is the United States? Rich, that is rich…why don’t you slowly read back (not too quick, you might overlook a few things) your own words and analyze them. It is complete and utter bollocks what you have written. Especially that last sentence, it is exactly what the world wishes the US for once would do. Let other countries determine their own fate and let the US keep its nose out of their politics. You are already making dirty hands for more than a century now, only as long as you could profit from that or it was part of a so called justified retaliation, no other reasons whatsoever.
And money: don’t make us laugh, you as a member have been (and still are) tremendously behind with payments to the UN for years now and you did not recognize the international court of law in the Hague in Holland as other normal countries did, too afraid your impeccable citizens might have to stand trial after misbehaving on a so called peace mission in a foreign country.
The trade balance (import vs export) is already for years in your favour, so who is sponsoring whom here ?(or investing in whom?, for that matter)

What utter nonsense written by Jez. Sour grapes from a leftist at best. Hate and bile from a diehard marxist at the very least. Anti-American to the core, not realizing that the United States is the greatest nation ever to exist, and that its people are the most generous and charitable in the world. Jez’s accusations reveal his elitist attitudes, chastising Rich for being a “hick”, as though having family values of faith, family and freedom is somehow a negative trait. As for the United Nations, it is my hope that we withdraw from that despicable fraud of an organization once and for all. I am tired of third world and European nations backstabbing us, especially after all we have done for them.

If this “documentary” told me a little more of something else besides that right wingers don’t like Michael Moore and think he’s a lying fat slob, maybe I would have found it interesting. The first “rebuttal” centers on the 7 minutes Bush spent in that children�s classroom after being told the nation is under attack. Here we are shown the classroom�s teacher explaining to us that Bush looked composed and looked to be collecting his thoughts, then a clip of Ann Coulter pops up of her asking cynically what do liberals think Bush was suppose to do, come out like superman and say �let the bullets hit me�. So in other words, Bush did indeed sit on his behind for 7 minutes but here are some opinions of people who don�t think this was so bad so take that Michael Moore fans! The title then appears shortly after this� �FAHRENHYPE 911� as if the viewer has just been shown an incredibly revealing preview of facts so let�s begin this marvelous documentary! On Moore�s claim that Bush was on vacation for 30-40 days (whichever it was) after the 911 attack, we are shown things Bush did during this time in the form of sentences that pop up on the screen for 1 second at a time (day 1: activity, day 2: activity� etc) and I assume this is �proof� that Bush was really working during this time, not vacationing. I slowed down the play speed so I could actually read these. For one day, it says Bush stopped to give a statement to the press, another day he had dinner with a politician and discussed some important issues, another day he met with condi rice or made a phone call to the whitehouse and the rest were just as trivial. So I imagine the point here being if Bush is at the beach all day this can�t be considered a vacation day if at any moment he stopped to answer a question or make a phone call. Would the reverse also apply? If during one of Bush�s long work days he stops for a few minutes to play with his dog then that turns into a vacation day? For about 15 minutes we’re shown clips of 911, obviously very sad, but my question is, what does the horror of 911 have to do with unraveling the lies of the Fahrenheit 911 documentary? Another scene shows the authors of the book “Michael Moore is a Big Fat Stupid White Man”, where one guy says to the other that Michael Moore is not American… so what is he.. French? and the other guy chuckles. (very mature, let’s just put out there once more that Americans hate French people) There were parts in “Fahrenhype” though that caught my attention such as rebutting “Fahrenheit’s” claim of Bush’s oil pipeline through Afghanistan and Bush’s connection to the Saudis and Bin Laden which I also didn’t entirely believe (or didn’t think was that simple) just by watching this part of Moore’s movie. All and all, The “Fahrenhype” “documentary” uses the one-dimensional, black/white philosophy (which most of the right uses) that because one may partly agree with �Fahrenheit 911� then we must also agree Michael Moore is a great, lovely, 100% purely honest man who also happens to be in fantastic physical condition! The makers of �Fahrenhype� should understand that �Fahrenheit� shows material and the controversy comes from Moore�s narration of the film and insinuations he makes which he�s openly admitted are his opinions. If you want to attack the Fahrenheit movie, attack its messages, not the messenger. Attack it with substance, not opinions, especially not the opinions of nut cases like Ann Coulter who says things like “My only regret with Timothy McVeigh (Oklahoma city bombing) is he did not go to the New York Times Building” or Zell Miller who challenged Chris Mathews on national TV to a duel and embarrassed the republican campaign for being such a screaming, abbrassive fool.
Did any of you watch either movie? (I know Shazam did. He saw exactly what I did!)
Maybe somebody out there can point out the actual lies Moore supposedly used in the documentary.
“Fahrenhype” only spins and attacks, it doesn’t correct any false statements.
