The term Mommy Dearest will most likely remind viewers of the book and film about Joan Crawford. But experienced web surfers may have already found this site, which has the same name, but a totally different concept.
The site, called MommyDearest.com, is a very family oriented site, with an interesting navigation method that I really liked. From the introduction where the visitor is invited in for a cup of coffee, one moves to a very nice looking house. Clicking on the house reveals several rooms, each one of which one can enter and explore. For example, clicking on the bathroom, reveals (surprise!) a picture of a bathroom. Within that room, several items are “hotspots” which can be clicked on. Clicking on the bathtub takes one to series of stories, related to the bathtub. Each room is like that. The stories are all original, and are quite interesting to read.
The house and rooms used at this site are neat to look at. They are not drawings, but appear to be miniature dollhouses. Very pleasant to look at and makes visiting this site a joy and pleasure.

Thanks for the nice words. I am “Jo”, one of the writers on mommydearest. I held the dollhouse as we made photos and created the site piece by piece. It was fun and now it has grown it seems. Always meant to be a “family site” and hope everyone will enjoy it.
