Paw Prints Post
The relationship between animals and man has always been special and
hard to define. Here is a site that explores that bond, in an
interesting and unique way.
The site is called Paw Prints Post, and is a cute site to wander
through. It helps to define that special bond between animals and humans
in a different way. For example, the editor is Esther the bunny and her
writing is very well defined. There are links to a lot of animal related
sites, as well as stories about animals by owners that have a special
feeling to them. For example, there is a story about Gremlin, Dog First
Class that flew with the Navy in W.W.II. It is a touching story. There
is a lot of information at this site for animal owners, online contests,
etc. But the most useful are for me was the Book Worm’s Hole, where
reviews of current and topical books are featured.
So the next time you (or your significant pet) are surfing the net, be
sure to check out this little corner of cyberspace. It will be a
worthwhile stop.

I was surfing the internet looking for the site where my story about Gremlin was published and stumbled across this where you mention Gremlin’s story. Thanks for the kind words.
Gremlin was rescued in Guantenamo Bay, Cuba during WWII when a detachment from the VPB-128 (my grandfather’s Navy squadron) was sent down there to keep an eye on things. Gremlin has become quite famous since I wrote his story. He even made it in Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover’s Soul in 2005.
Grandpa didn’t live long enough to know how famous Gremlin became and it all started one afternoon when we were going through old family photos and I found one of Gremlin with Grandpa and members of his crew. thanks again for your kind words.
