Moreland Presbyterian Church

As we approach the anniversary of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, churches around the world are celebrating in different ways, with different types of services. The Internet has changed the way that churches reach out to people, and expanded the types of services they provide to congregations, both members and non-members.

The Famsite today looks at a typical web page, one from Moreland Presbyterian Church. It is a fairly new site, located in the Sellwood suburb of Portland, Oregon. This church has been around since 1888, although not in the same building. The web page was created using Microsoft Publisher 97, showing the flexibility of that program. The information contained is related to the church, with some links to the national Presbyterian organization, as well as local Oregon churches that are on the web.

The net has changed the way almost everyone has done business in one way or another. Churches can use it as an outreach and evangelism tool, one that can help them to fulfill their mission. Enjoy your stop here, and have a nice Easter holiday.
