Just when you thought it was safe to put your pocket protector back in, here it comes again. A program that highlights the benefits of the people who really understand the working behind the box that you are reading this on. It is the return of the Nerds!!

Called Nerds 2.0.1, it is a site that looks at the people who make the computer business really function. It is a Public Broadcasting program hosted by Robert Cringely, who gave us “Accidental Empires” and “Triumph of the Nerds”. Here you find, as Paul Harvey says, the rest of the story. It is an essential look at how computers have changed our lives, and will continue to do so, with the Internet being the conduit for that change to happen. It is a great program, and this is a good supplementary site for those interested in the topic.

So grab your modem and head on over to hear the latest from the author I consider having his finger on the pulse of the computer industry. Have a nice voyage.
