Educational television has long been fighting an uphill battle to compete with the major networks for a share of the television audience. After all, who wants to watch TV after sitting in school all day, and then have to learn something when we would rather be entertained? The site is PBS Online, and is the home site for Public Broadcasting Station. Here is the finest educational and instructional programming to be found on the air. From Sesame Street to Nova to Mr. Rodger’s Neighborhood to Evans and Novak. The variety and quality of programming is unmatched. Currently you can watch Nature: John Denver (about the singer and his love of the wilderness he sang about), The American Experience: Jubilee Singers, and The Perennial Gardener.
