Positively Poetry
Poetry has long been a language that has been used to communicate feelings and emotions with. Shakespeare, Browning, Frost, even King David in the Bible used it to show the inner most souls of themselves as they wrote it.
Today’s site is dedicated to poetry. But it is more than just words on paper, or in this case, letters on a CRT display. The author of this site hopes to use the medium of poetry to bring children of the world together, to describe in their own original way, what their life is like. The purpose is to give children from 5 to 15 a chance to display their creative talents on a worldwide basis. So far there have been submissions from Europe and the South Pacific, as well as the United States. There are also links to other poetry related sites, as well as some fun links for kids.
Oh, yeah. The author of this site should know how poetry relates to kids. She is only 14 years old, but has a vision far beyond her years. So give this extremely creative site a visit, and enjoy a pleasant stay.
