SwapVillage
The growth of the Internet has created all sorts of opportunities for exchanging information and conducting business, both formally and informally. It has lead to an explosion in e-commerce, and buying and selling on the web is in an almost vertical line on the graph. One site that is unique in how it conducts business is the subject of today’s FamSite.
Called SwapVillage, this site is like an online swap meet or flea market. Here you can list items that you are both seeking and wanting. You can make offers on what other people are selling, as well as getting offers from what you want to sell. You can swap items or purchase them outright, and by using the SwapCorner, arrangements can be made for in-person swapping. The items here are of a wide variety, from travel and vacation items and packages, to video games, to home and garden and baby items. This is really an interesting place to go shopping.
This site offers another example of how the Internet is changing our daily lives. It reminds me in a way of other small sites that have grown to become household names. Enjoy your stop here today, and be sure to share this site with a friend.
