The Clint Howard Project

When you think of the old Andy Griffith show and some of the delightful characters on it, who comes to mind. For me, I always identified with Opie, played by Ron Howard, since he was about my age. But did you know that he wasn’t the only young Howard to be on that program? His brother Clint was there as well, in several episodes, as Opie’s friend Leon. Since then Clint has gone on to achieve a well-respected place in Hollywood as an actor. Today’s FamSite looks at the younger Howard brother, and I think you will be surprised at what he has done.

Called The Clint Howard Project, this site looks at the variety of roles that he has played. Everything from his “Gentle Ben” television series, to just about every prime time television show of the 1960’s and 70’s, to spots in his brother’s movies, to parts that stand on their own merit, his characters establish a screen presence that are remembered after the film is over.

If you want to find out about the other acting Howard brother, then give this site a once over. It will be a trip you will surely enjoy.
