The Complete Yellowstone Page
Here it is, the start of summer vacation. All packed up and nowhere to go. Have you ever thought about a trip to a national park, one that is in the wilds, located in three different states, and will make you want to go live in the woods? Then try the subject of today’s Family Site.
The park in question is Yellowstone Nation Park, and the page is The Total Yellowstone Page. It is a collection of information, resources, pictures and sounds of the park. There are maps, popular areas broken down so they can be found easily (such as the geysers), winter activities (yes, it is open in the winter), former employees, hiking trails,…..heck, why go into it here. Go see for yourself. The list of what is on the page is very through and complete, and they explain it better than I ever could. (And they cover areas I never even would have thought of).
One important area of interest is the rules and regulations concerning wild animals. They are WILD animals, and some look at us humans simply as another link in the food chain.
