The Vatican
What is the smallest sovereign nation in the world? It isn’t Monaco, or Switzerland, or a small South Pacific Island. Yet when it’s leader talks, millions of people the world over listen.
The nation I am talking about is the Vatican. It is recognized as a sovereign nation, and is located in Rome, Italy. Today’s Family Site is the website that is maintained by that nation. Located here is information on Pope John Paul II, as well as the three previous Popes. Information on arts programs are available here, such at the Angels Exhibit that will be coming to the Unites States in 1998, as well as Patrons of the Arts information. This site is available in several languages, and is interesting to visit. Short of an audience with the Pope, it is the next best thing to being there. Give it a look, you’ll come away impressed with how high tech this centuries old nation has become.
