African Focus

Not so many years ago, the Republic of South Africa was ostracized for its apartheid form of government, and the human rights abuses that took place there. The world and South Africa have changed, and today’s site is an example of how well this former British colony is surviving.

The site, African Village, is an almanac-type of site with information on the country. Here a visitor can find out how to visit there, where to go and what to see, as well as where and what to buy as souvenirs. There are business sites, educational information, and even a fashion section (one every well-dressed tourist would like to visit, I am sure). The site is growing and changing daily, so be sure to bookmark it and return often. It will surprise a visitor to see just how much the old culture has changed, and how well the new leaders are doing. It will be a worthwhile visit.
