Mother and Child Online
Today’s site, Mother and Child Online, is a web-based publication that has as it’s focus, helping parents to nurture their children. It is a showcase of articles that focus on what it is to raise our young ones in today’s world. One article that grabbed my eye right away (and not just since it was the first one) told of 10 signs of a great pre-school. It never entered my mind to think of such things. My wife and I sent ours to the one that was closest to our house. A convenient choice, but maybe not a wise one. There are also articles on that first emergency room visit, a father’s perspective (this month: Tree Climbing), as well as original articles by young visitors, links to other sites with similar and yet more specific interests.
As I continue to find sites on the Internet to feature here, it becomes obvious to me that there are an infinite number of ways to raise and nurture children. Some are based on religion, some are based on culture, and some are raised on common sense. But all have the goal to help our children become the best adults and citizens they can be. Sites like today’s go along way to helping achieve that goal.
