Mr. William Shakespeare and the Internet

“All the world’s a stage,

and all the men and women merely players..”

So goes on of the most famous lines from one of the most famous plays by one of the most famous playwrights of all time. I thought it would be great to spend some time with him, since he just celebrated a birthday yesterday.

The site is called Mr. William Shakespeare and the Internet. This is an online resource for someone who is considered one of the greatest playwrights to have ever lived. He was born on, according to most records on April 23rd, 1564. He lived for 52 years and wrote many plays that most of us grew up reading, such as “Romeo and Juliet”, and “Hamlet”, among others. Here you can read about the details of his life from many areas and points of views, as well as travel to other sites to expand on that reading. He was and is a very fascinating man, both from a theatrical point of view, and as one of the standouts during a very interesting time in English history.

So, let us, paraphrasing the lines known as the “Seven Ages of Man”, make our exit and our entrance to this site, one that I am sure you will enjoy. After all, the play’s the thing. Enjoy your stop here today.
