If Tweety Bird ever visited this web site, he would have probably had a little tweety coronary. This site is called the American Cat Fancier’s Association, and is a site that is dedicated to the feline friends we all have in the world.
This organization was created in 1955, and their goal is to promote understanding, welfare, knowledge, and interest in all cats, purebred or otherwise. This is done through cat shows, banquets and award shows, ocean cruises and now the Internet. There are ongoing programs to monitor legislation that can affect animals, a new breeders’ directory, as well as links to articles, catalogs and other useful information of interest to cat fanciers. In a nutshell, this site is all cats, all the time.
So if you have an interest in cats, or know of someone who does, do them and yourself a favor, visit this site. It will be an educational experience and a worthwhile trip.
Good Morning. I need, if I may, please, have some information about when and where cat shows will be scheduled. I would also appreciate knowing how one meet the requirements for being a vendor or information contacting other vendors as I have a home hobby of making cat(kitty)teases made from emu feather with or without strips of colored mylar. In my research I have not seen any wands made with emu feathers. I would also like to donated emu feather teasers to anyone who might be interested or if someone could give these teasers to the different cat judges to use. My daughters’ cats love these wands, especially the red mylar ones. Any feedback would be most useful as I would be so grateful. I am 81 years young and want to be doing something creative as well as being a useful hobby.
